Meir Rinde is a freelance reporter based in South Philadelphia. He writes about infrastructure, transportation, local businesses, elections, science history, health and medicine, community issues, and various other topics.

His work has appeared at PlanPhilly/WHYY, WNYC, NJ Spotlight, Distillations magazine, Onclive, Philadelphia Weekly, Grid, and other publications. He was previously an editor and reporter at the Trenton Times and a reporter at the Hartford Advocate and the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune. He studied at the Columbia University School of Journalism, Brandeis University and UC Berkeley.
